I have been back to work for 2 weeks now, and we are adjusting well. I am very lucky to have such a well behaved baby. He is already sleeping 7-8 hours a night, which makes going back to work a lot easier too. Leaving Martez was very difficult, and all I could think about was how much he missed me. But, seeing the big smile on his face when I come home makes it all worth it. He loves his mommy very much, I don't know what we would do without him. Morris just left this morning for Georgia to tryout for the Arena football team. He was hesitant to go, because he knew how much he would miss us, but it is an opportunity he couldn't pass up.
Martez is already 10 weeks old! He had his 2 month appointment last Monday and he was 12lbs 1oz and 23 in. long. He also got 3 shots, and he did very well. He only cried while getting the shots and he didn't have any reactions from them. He is a tough little guy.
Here are some new pictures of Martez last week. He changes every week. I didn't think it was possible, but he keeps getting more and more precious :)
He has the funniest face when he first wakes up in the morning!
He finally found his thumb! He doesn't really suck on it, but it's so cute to see him trying to put it in his mouth.

Love all those pix! Aren't you the absolute cutest little man! I enjoyed our short time together over the last few days. Am looking forward to more time with you when the days are warmer and we can all BBQ!
