What a beautiful smile!

Oh my gosh...Martez is already 3 weeks old! We can't believe how big he is getting. At his 2 week appointment, he weighed 8 lbs already, and he it doesn't seem like he is slowing down at all. He is smiling a lot and it is so cute! We had to let you all see it too. Morris and I are quickly adjusting to the new parenting lifestyle, and we are 2 very proud parents.

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post an update. These days just seem to fly by with a baby around. Today Martez is 1 week old...I can't believe it has been a week already. The only word I can think of to describe Martez is PRECIOUS. He is the most beautiful thing to look at. Each day gets better and better. He is already smiling, and he recognizes his mom and dad's voices. Right now, he is doing a lot of eating and sleeping, but he stays awake a little longer each day. We are definitely enjoying our time with him.

Happy Birthday Martez!

Martez was born at yesterday (Superbowl Sunday) at 5:35pm! He weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 19 in long. Mommy and baby are doing great. As you can see, he is the cutest baby with features from both mommy and daddy.

All i can think about is getting sleep tonite, i had to work @ six o' clock in the morning but kisha woke me up @ 1:30am telling me it might be time, my first reaction was like, "are you serious" but now its starting to become true, she has been having contractions very consistently so were gonna give the nurse a call & see what's up. It looks like Martez will be arriving on Monday!! The doctor said she will induce my labor on Monday if he does not come sooner. We can't wait to meet him!
